You need to discuss these issues with your doctor.
Viagra made mine…oops, I meant my friends…hard as a flag pole man.

Viagra is the first of the products to hit the market place and the one we know the most about. Often it does not work the first time or two, either from misunderstanding how it works or from taking it at the wrong time. I have used all of them and they all work to give a much more predictable, hard erection. I felt better using Cialis than with the others. I don’t often need any of them, but they are a welcome addition to the armamentarium when “willy” gets a bit tired.

viagra gave me a headache and cialis does not, otherwise both work well. I prefer cialis because I just have to take it once a weekend and I am good to go. There is a pretty good comparison chart at the link below in their FAQ section
It is very individual. For me cialis works best. I have tried viagra and cialis so far. Viagra gave me a headache sometimes and sometimes a weird feeling the next morning (hard to explain what exactly) cialis has no side effects for me so far, although I think that the erections viagra gave me were somehow more intense.
